Mr. McPartland joined Vistagen in September 2016 as Senir Vice President, Investor Relations. Mr. McPartland has over 28 years of corporate development, investor relations, and capital markets experience working with private and public biotechnology, healthcare, and technology companies. Mr. McPartland joined Vistagen from Stellar Biotechnologies, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: SBOT), acquired by Edesa Biotech, where he served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Communications. In his role at Stellar, Mr. McPartland was responsible for transforming its capital markets and corporate communications strategy, expanding institutional awareness, and supporting global business development activities. Prior to his time with Stellar, Mr. McPartland served as Senior Vice President at MZ Group, a global investor relations and corporate communications leader. He also previously served as Vice President and Partner at Alliance Advisors, LLC, specializing in planning and implementing capital markets strategy, market positioning, and financial communications and as Regional Vice President at Hayden Communications, Inc., leading investor relations and corporate communications programs for private and publicly listed companies.

Mr. McPartland received his B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from Coastal Carolina University.
