Vice President, Biostatistics and Clinical Analytics
Rita Hanover, Ph.D., R.A.C. has over 40 years of research analytics experience. Prior to joining Vistagen, Dr. Hanover served as a biostatistics consultant to Pherin Pharmaceuticals for over 30 years throughout Phase 1-2 clinical development and regulatory interactions for PH94B, PH80, and PH10 during her tenure as Associate Director of Neuropsychology Research at the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Medical Center and Associate Professor at the University of Utah, School of Medicine, Psychiatry and Interdepartmental Neurosciences. She has extensive experience in the design and analysis of pre-clinical and clinical studies, data analysis, and implementation of clinical research as well as analysis of real world health care data, having served as Principal Analyst at Comagine Health managing nationally based and funded projects for the National Bureau of Economics, National Association of Health Data Organizations, and Network for Regional Health Improvement. Previous positions include Director of Clinical Research at Techniscan Medical Systems (now QT Imaging), and lead biostatistics consultant for J3 Bioscience. Dr. Hanover earned a Ph.D. in Physiological Psychology from the University of Utah Interdepartmental Neuroscience at the University of Utah, and M.S. in Experimental Psychology and B.S. in Biology from Central Washington University.
